My name is Ryan C. Means and I am the owner and lead craftsman of Kollide Woodworks.

From a young age I became very familiar with a hammer and nails. My father has been a general contractor for the last 45 years, so since the very beginning, building and working with wood has been a large part of my life. Many of my childhood memories include working on fun projects like building treehouses, skateboard ramps and designing anything my young mind could dream up! After a over a decade of working for the family construction company, my interest in fine woodworking grew into a dedicated pursuit. What began as a passionate side hobby became a business!

In 2018, I combined my passion for custom woodworking and entrepreneurship to start Kollide Woodworks. The name Kollide represents a place where creative ideas come together to form unique builds. Our mission is to pair seamless collaboration with high-quality materials and the technical expertise necessary to bring your vision to life.
